Top 10 Ways To Get 1000 Links To Your Website In A Flash

So what's wrong with you that you've got no visitors to your gorgeous website?

Some time ago, I had a conference call with a few of my buddies/clients about different ways that we could come up with to create 1000 separate links to a website. We didn't hold back or censor our ideas. This was a time to just let it all hang out, so to speak.

There were 20 of us on Skype so we took turns coming up with ideas and did a round robin session where we came up with our idea and passed the torch to the next person.

I'm not going to say that we had 300 great ideas but we did have a few fantastic ones. Not to be honest, some of us had already done some the ideas we promoted with some success while others were just to get something out there so that the next person could have a turn. I took the top 10 ideas and shared them with the group.

We were going to try all 10 to see how much better our results could be in a month. We wanted to improve our ranking on the search engines and drive a solid wave of traffic. We all swore to track and show our Google analytics results in ninety days.

Here are the top 10 ideas to get massive links (1,000) to your website in no particular order.

  • 1. Contact 1,000 websites a day in your category and see if you can get a reciprocal link to them. Get a 20% closing rate (200 say yes each day) and you'll have 1,000 links in five days.
  • 2. Create an essential program or killer applet that will grab everyone's attention. Give it away free with your link and branding on it. Promote the free app to the target market.
  • 3. Drink lots of coffee and create 100 articles on the subjects that match your website. Get those articles out to the top 50 article markets but submit by hand to ensure that they get published.
  • 4. Create a portable search engine applet in a popular heading and give it away. When people put the code on their websites, the applet has a link back to your website.
  • 5. Find a company that will let you brand their auto responders for a fee. Give away auto responders and make sure that the applet links back to you.
  • 6. Host CGI forms and scripts hosting service. There are millions of people who are searching for easy ways to set up email scripts. You advertise on the response forms that connect to the free emails.
  • 7. Host and Give away free surveys to people who want to use survey to market their service or product. These surveys are coded to their websites and returns a link to your website.
  • 8. Create a free suduku or crossword puzzle app that people can put on their websites. Every day the information changes on the suduku or crossword puzzle changes automatically.
  • 9. Start a free e-book creation service. You can create fully functional secure e-books for others with your branding on the front page.
  • 10. Create a small applet that distributes daily astrology readings to people's websites.
So, you see, I'm sure you can come up with more ideas. This was just the best a bunch of guys with nothing better to do came up with and I didn't cover the crazy ones or the off-color ones. Try it yourself; sit down with a piece of paper and see what you can come up with on your own. If you feel that you can't program a VCR much less a tiny but complex web applet, contact someone over at the online freelance coders websites. Find someone who will code it for you at a reasonable price. Think of the income you'll earn once your website is sitting at the top of the organic search engines as well the fact that you can sell the branded applet to others.
